Archambaud IX "the Great" de Bourbon ~ Seigneur de Bourbon married Beatrice de Montculon, daughter of Archambaud V ~ Seigneur de Montculon in the Bourbonaise.1 He was the procurator of Auvergne.1 Archambaud was killed in battle on 23 July 1242 at the Battle of Taillebourg near Cognac.1
