Germain Girouard was born circa 1691 at Port-Royal, Acadia, New France.1 He was the son of Jacques Girouard and Marguerite Gautrot.
Germain Girouard married Marie Doucet, daughter of Toussaint Doucet dit François and Marie Caissie, circa 1710 at Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.1,2 Germain Girouard died on 17 July 1760 at Restigouche, Colony of Nova Scotia (now New Brunswick).1 He was buried on 18 July 1760 at Restigouche, Colony of Nova Scotia (now New Brunswick).1
