     Robert II , Count of Dreux and Braine was born in 1154.1,2,3 He was the son of Robert I le Grand , Count of Dreux, Perche and Braine and Agnès de Baudément , Countess of Braine-sur-Vesle.

Robert II , Count of Dreux and Braine married Yolande de Coucy, daughter of Raoul I de Coucy ~ Sire de Coucy et Marle and Agnes of Hainault, in 1184.2,4 He was at Acre in 1191 during the Third Crusade.2 At the Battle of Bouvines, 27 July 1214, he fought against the Emperor Otto and the English.2 Robert II , Count of Dreux and Braine died on 28 December 1218.1,2,4,3 He was buried at Église Saint-Yved, Braine, Aisne, France.2
