     Raoul I de Coucy ~ Sire de Coucy et Marle was born circa 1135.1 He was the son of Enguerrand II , Sire de Coucy and Agnes de Beaugency. He was an adherent of Philip Augustus.1

Raoul I de Coucy ~ Sire de Coucy et Marle married Agnes of Hainault, daughter of Baldwin IV le Bâtisseur , Count of Hainaut and Alice de Namur, before 1164.1

Raoul I de Coucy ~ Sire de Coucy et Marle married second wife.1 He followed Philip Augustus on the third Crusade.1 Raoul I de Coucy ~ Sire de Coucy et Marle died in November 1191 at Acre, Holy Land.1

Compeller's Notes:
Burial: Stuart (2002) states he was buried in Foisny, but where this is, I do not know.1
