Marie Sophie M. Lemieux was born on 24 March 1868 at Montréal, Québec, Canada.1,2 She was christened on 24 March 1868 in the Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal, Montréal, Québec, Canada.2
She was the daughter of Joseph Lemieux and Louise Lecompte. Marie Sophie M. Lemieux was always known as Delia.
Delia Lemieux, age 21, married Napoleon Ovita Roy, age 22 , son of Joseph Roy and Marie-Adelaide Gagnon, on 12 February 1890 at the Rochester, Monroe County, New York.
Delia, age 31 years, and Napoleon, age 32 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 on 14 Cameron Street, Rochester, Monroe County, New York.5 Delia, age 36 years, and Napoleon, age 37 years , appeared on the New York State Census of 1905 at Rochester, Monroe County, New York.6 Delia, age 46 years, and Napoleon, age 47 years , appeared on the New York State Census of 1915 at Rochester, Monroe County, New York.7 Delia, age 51 years, and Napoleon, age 52 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on 141 Barbara Street, Rochester, Monroe County, New York.8 Delia, age 61 years, and Napoleon, age 62 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 on 112 Rose Mary Drive, Rochester, Monroe County, New York. Napoleon and Delia were living with their son Fred A. Roy.9 Delia died on 13 July 1953 at Rochester, Monroe County, New York, at age 85.1,10 Delia was buried at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, Monroe County, New York.10
