René Aucoin was born circa 1690 at Acadia, New France.1,2 He was the son of Martin Aucoin and Marie Gaudet. In the 1693 US Census, René was recorded, age (an unknown value), living in Les Mines, Acadia, New France.2
René Aucoin married Marie-Madeleine Bourg, daughter of Martin Bourg and Marie Potet, circa 1713 at Acadia, New France.1,2 The will of René Aucoin was notarized by Louis De Courville, notary at Fort Beauséjour, at Beaubassin on 10 Aug 1754. He divided his goods among his children.2 René Aucoin died between 1755 and 1756.1,2
