     Amado I , Count of Geneva was born circa 1100.1,2 He was the son of Aimon I , Count of Geneva and Ida de Faucigny. Amado I , Count of Geneva was also known as Amadeus.1

Amado I , Count of Geneva married Matilda of Cuiseaux, daughter of Hugh , Seigneur de Cuiseaux.1,2 Amado became, in 1128, the Count of Geneva.2 He died on 26 June 1178.1,2
