Louis II ~ Count of Ivoix and Chiny was the son of Louis I de Chiny , Count of Ivoix and Chiny, Governor of Verdun and Adelaide.
Louis II ~ Count of Ivoix and Chiny married Sophia of Verdun , Countess of Bricy, daughter of Frederick , Count of Verdun, Duke of Upper Lorraine.1 Louis II, revenging his father's death, defeated Duke Gonzelon in 1048.1 He entertained both Emperor Henry III and King Henry I of France in 1048.1 Louis II ~ Count of Ivoix and Chiny died in 1068.1
