William III of Forcalquier , Count of Forcalquier and Marquis of Provence was the son of Armengol IV , Count of Urgel and Adelaide.
William III of Forcalquier , Count of Forcalquier and Marquis of Provence married Gersende of Albon, daughter of Guigues VIII , Count of Albon and Grenoble and Mathilda , Regina guæ fuit de Anglia, between 1076 and 1080.1,2 On the death of his father in 1092, he received a part of the parias (tribute) from the taifa of Zaragoza.2 In 1094, William inherited a share of Provence (Forcalquier) on the death of his maternal grandfather.2 William III of Forcalquier , Count of Forcalquier and Marquis of Provence died in October 1129 at Avignon, France.1,2
