Baldwin V the Pious de Lille , Count of Flanders married Adelaide of France , Princess of France, daughter of Robert II the Pious ~ King of France and Constance of Arles, in 1028.3,1,2,6,4,5 He entered into hostilities with Emperor Otho II and acquired from that monarch Valenciennes and the Isles of Zealand. He subsequently further increased his territories by another rich accession, that of the citadel of Ghent.3 Baldwin V the Pious de Lille , Count of Flanders died on 1 September 1067 at Lille, France.1,2,3,4,5,6
