Berthold I von Babenbert ~ Margrave of the Bavarian Nordgau, Rodensgau, and Volkfeld was born circa 915.1 He was the son of Arnulf I the Bad ~ Duke of Bavaria and Judith of Sülichgau.
Berthold I von Babenbert ~ Margrave of the Bavarian Nordgau, Rodensgau, and Volkfeld married Eiliswinta von Walbeck, daughter of Lothar II ~ Count of Walbeck and Stade and Mathilda von Arneburg.1 He founded the monastery of Schweinfurt.1 Berthold I von Babenbert ~ Margrave of the Bavarian Nordgau, Rodensgau, and Volkfeld died on 15 January 980.1
