Pons, Count of Toulouse
     Pons III ~ Comte de Toulouse, Albi, et Dijon was born in 991.1,2 He was the son of William III Taillefer ~ Comte de Toulouse and Emma de Mortain de Provence.

Pons III ~ Comte de Toulouse, Albi, et Dijon married Majore. Count Pons gave many allodial churches and castles, including one half of that of Porta Spina, in the Albigeois, Nimois, and Provence as a bridal gift to his wife Majore.2 Pons became, in 1037, the Count of Toulouse.1

Pons III ~ Comte de Toulouse, Albi, et Dijon married Almodis de la Marche ~ Comtess de Limoges, daughter of Bernard I ~ Comte de la Haute Marche et Perigord and Amélie ~Comtess d'Aubnay, in 1040.1,3,2 Pons and Almodis were divorced.1 Pons III ~ Comte de Toulouse, Albi, et Dijon died in 1060 at Toulouse, France.2,1 He was buried at Basilica of Saint-Sernin, Toulouse, France.1,2
