Sancha, Queen consort of León
     Sancha of León was born in 1013 at León, León, Spain.1,2 She was the daughter of Alfonso V ~ King of Castile and León, Emperor of Spain and Elvira Meneddez. She was the heiress to León.1

Sancha of León married Ferdinand I the Great ~ King of Castile and León, son of Sancho Garcia III the Great ~ King of Navarre, Count of Castile and Aragon and Munia Mayor, between November 1032 and December 1032.1 Sancha of León died on 8 November 1067 at León, León, Spain.1,2 She was buried at Basilica of San Isidoro, León, Castile and León, Spain.1,2
