     Henry IV of Franconia ~ Holy Roman Emperor was born on 11 November 1050 at Goslar, Lower Saxony, Germany.1,2,3 He was the son of Henry III the Black ~ Holy Roman Emperor and Agnes of Poitou. Henry was crowned the King of Germany in 1056.1,2

Henry IV of Franconia ~ Holy Roman Emperor, age 15, married Bertha of Maurienne, daughter of Odo I ~ Count of Maurienne and Margrave of Susa and Adelaide von Susa, on 13 July 1066.1,2,3,4 Henry was crowned the Holy Roman Emperor on 31 March 1084.1,2 He died on 7 August 1106 at Leuven, Flemish Region, France, now Belgium, at age 55.1,2,3,4 He was buried at Liège, Wallonia, Belgium.1
