Richard the Justiciar ~ Comte d'Autin et Duc de Burgundy was the son of Budwine or Bivin of Gorze ~ Count of Italy and Metz and Richilde of Arles.
Richard the Justiciar ~ Comte d'Autin et Duc de Burgundy married Adelaide of Burgundy, daughter of Conrad II ~ Comte d'Auxerre and Waldrada, before 888.1 He served as Justicier and was the Burgundian opponent of the Capets. He was in all probablity, the Count of Sens.1 Richard the Justiciar ~ Comte d'Autin et Duc de Burgundy died on 1 September 921 at Auxerre, Burgundy, France.1
