Ramiro I , King of Aragon was born out of wedlock at Spain; His parents later married.1 He was the son of Sancho Garcia III the Great ~ King of Navarre, Count of Castile and Aragon and Sancha de Aybar. Ramiro was crowned the King of Aragon in 1035.1
Ramiro I , King of Aragon married Gilberga de Conserans, daughter of Bernard Rodger , Count of Conserans and Bigorre, Lord of Foix and Gersende de Bigorre, on 22 August 1036 at Jaca, Aragon, Spain.1 Ramiro was killed in battle on 8 May 1063 at Graus, Aragon, Spain.1
