Adelaide was the daughter of William Bertrand , Count of Provence at Avignon, Marquis of Provence and Adelaide of Ivrea. She was the heiress of the countships of Forcalquier, Provence, and Avignon, which after the partition of 1102/1105 was called the County of Forcalquier.1
Adelaide married Armengol IV , Count of Urgel, son of Armengol III , Count of Urgel and Clemencia de Bigorre, between 1076 and 1080.1
