Kunigunde of Altdorf was born circa 1020.1 She was the daughter of Welf II , Count of Altdorf and Ermentrude of Luxemburg. Kunigunde of Altdorf was also known as Kuniza.1 She was the heiress of Altdorf from her brother.1
Kunigunde of Altdorf married Alberto Azzo II , Marchese d'Este and of the Lombards, son of Alberto Azzo I , Marchese in Liguria and Adela, circa 1035.1 Kunigunde of Altdorf died after 1055.1 She was buried at Vangadicendis, Italy.1
