Herbert , Marquis of Transjuranian Burgundy was the son of Boso III the Old ~ Comte d'Arles and Count in Italy. He was the Lay Abbot of St. Maurice.1 Herbert became, after 855, the Marquis of Transjuranian Burgundy.1 Herbert was killed in battle in 864 at Orbe, Vaud, Switzerland.1
