According to Rose Scully, "We never knew Aunt Rose Andrews' husband, who died very young. As far back as I can remember, she was a widow. She worked as a cook in private homes and also for the Pressed Steel Car Company in McKees Rocks. Aunt Rose was an excellent pie baker, and an invitation to stay for dinner at her home was always welcome.”.
