     David Dunning Galloway was born in 1850 at Phillipsport, Sullivan County, New York.1

David Dunning Galloway married Elizabeth Travis, daughter of William Travis and Eliza Maria Schoonmaker. David, age 30 years, and Elizabeth Travis, age 21 years, appeared on the US Census of 1880 at Wawarsing, Ulster County, New York.2

David married second Almeada Bradford.3

David married third Mary E. Morris.3 He died on 4 January 1929 at Middletown, Orange County, New York.1 He was buried at Poplar Grove Cemetery, Phillipsport, Sullivan County, New York. David's epitaph reads:
