Frank Frederick Pschirer was born on 25 July 1858 at Petlarn, now Žebrák, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary.1,2,3 He was the son of Johann Joseph Pschirer and Maria Keim. He served in the Austrio-Hungarian Army around 1875.2 Frank Frederick Pschirer immigrated between 1882 and 1883 to the United States He came over with his widowed father, two brothers, and his sister.4,2,5
Frank Frederick Pschirer, age 25, married Mary Anna Boehm, age 23 , daughter of John Boehm and Anna Wurdock, on 30 October 1883 at St. Anne's Church, Millville, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.2,6 Frank, age 51 years, and Mary, age 49 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at 645 North Avenue, Millville, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.7 According to the Federal Census in 1910, Frank was a house carpenter.7 He was naturalized before 1920.8 Frank, age 61 years, and Mary, age 59 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 at 645 North Avenue, Millville, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.8 According to the Federal Census in 1920, Frank was a carpenter.8 Frank, age 71 years, and Mary, age 69 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 at 643 North Avenue, Millville, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.4 Frank and Mary celebrated their anniversary on 30 October 1933 The article in the Pittsburgh Press reads.6
Frank Frederick Pschirer died on 8 November 1935 at St. Francis Hospital, Millville, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at age 77 from pneumonia.3,9,10 Frank's obituary of 9 November 1935, reads:
Solemn requiem high mass will be sung Monday at 9 a. m. in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Millvale, for Frank Pschirer. a resident of Millvale for more than 50 years, who died Friday in St. Francis Hospital of pneumonia. Born in Auster, Bohemia, 77 years ago. Mr. Pschirer came to this country when he was 24. He had been in the contracting business many years, retiring 15 years ago. He resided at 643 North Ave., Millvale. Mr. Pschirer was a member of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Branch. No. 4. Knights of St. George. German Austrian Society and the Holy Name Society. He is survived by his widow, Mary Anna Boehm, nine children, Mrs. Bertha Farmerie, Mrs. Carrie Brunner, Mrs. Mary Kretz. Mrs. Elizabeth Sahr, Frank. Joseph, Florian, Clement and Albert Pschirer; two brothers, John and Leonard, and 23 grandchildren. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.9
