Grave Marker of Letty Sahr Nusser
     Lauretta Sahr was born on 28 February 1902 at Pennsylvania.1,2 She was the daughter of Albert M. Sahr and Margaret Elizabeth Merdian. Lauretta Sahr went by the nick-name of Letty. Letty, age 8, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at Ralanning Pike, O'Hara Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Albert M. and Margaret Elizabeth Sahr.3 Letty, age 17, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at 208 Singer Avenue, McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Albert M. and Margaret Elizabeth Sahr. She was working as a bank clerk.4 As of 1928,her married name was Nusser.

Lauretta Sahr married William Roberts Nusser, son of Ernest Wilhelm Nusser and Elizabeth Yeager, in 1928.

Letty, age 37 years, and Bill, age 41 years, appeared on the US Census of 1940 on 90 Crafton Avenue, Crafton, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.6 Lauretta, age 47 years, appeared on the US Census of 1950 on 8 Thomas Street, Crafton, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, living with her 16 year old son, Kenneth.7 In 1978, the year Letty died, she lived at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.2 She died on 7 January 1978 at Pennsylvania at age 75.2,8 Letty's obituary of 9 January 1978, reads:

Jan. 7, 1978, Letty Sahr, of Crafton; wife of the late William R.: mother of Kenneth R., of Rochester, Pa; sister of Marie Love, of Beaver, Pa., Gertrude Hanley, of Mt. Lebabnon, Katherine Sigmund, of FI. and Frank Sahr of California; also three grandchildren, Mary Lou, Sue Ann, and William Nusser. Friends may call at the MARHARET LAMB FUNERAL HOME, 165 Noble Ave., Crafton. from 7.9 p.m., Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9. p.m. Monday. Mass of Christian in St. Phillip's R.C. Church, Crafton, Tuesday at 10 a.m.
