     Albert M. Sahr was born on 11 November 1863 at Lauenburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.1,2 He was the son of Conrad Sahr and Maria Wenz. Albert M. Sahr immigrated in 1880 to the United States.3,4

Albert M. Sahr, age 21, married Margaret Elizabeth Merdian, age 18 , daughter of Conrad Merdian and Apollonia Wolff, on 11 November 1884.5,6 Albert M. Sahr was naturalized before 1910.3 Albert, age 46 years, and Margaret, age 44 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at Ralanning Pike, O'Hara Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.3 According to the Federal Census in 1910, Albert was a pudler. Albert, age 56 years, and Margaret, age 54 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 at 208 Singer Avenue, McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.4 According to the Federal Census in 1920, Albert was a pudler.4 Albert, age 66 years, and Margaret, age 64 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 at 1250 Faulkner Street, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.7 According to the Federal Census in 1930, Albert was a street cleaner.7 He died on 24 May 1933 at 1119 Emporia Street, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at age 69 from cirrhosis of the liver.6,1,2 He was buried on 27 May 1933 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in plot R-39-1.6,1,2
