Mary Elizabeth Myers

     Mary Elizabeth Myers was born on 30 August 1906 at Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of Joseph Lucas Myers and Anna Isabelle Geiger. Mary Elizabeth Myers was also known as Elizabeth. Mary, age 3, appeared on the US Census of 1910 living at 335 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.⁴ Elizabeth, age 13, appeared on the US Census of 1920 living at 333 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.⁵ Elizabeth, age 22, appeared on the US Census of 1930 living at 335 Spring Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of her parents, Joseph Lucas and Anna Isabelle Myers.⁶ According to the Federal Census in 1930, Mary was a clerk in a veriety store.⁶ As of 29 June 1937,her married name was Bercel.

Mary Elizabeth Myers, age 30, married George Carl Bercel, age 25 , son of Joseph Bercel and Mary Soyak, on 29 June 1937 at the Holy Family Church, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.

Elizabeth, age 43 years, and George Bercel, age 37 years, appeared on the US Census of 1950 at 849 East Hill Drive, New Kensington, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.⁹ According to the 1954 New Kensington, Pennsylvania, City Directory, she lived in New Kensington, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in 1954.¹⁰ In 1977, the year Mary died, she lived at New Kensington, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.¹ Elizabeth died in December 1977 at age 71.^1,2 Elizabeth was buried at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in section T, lot A100.²
