     Charles LeVerne Myers was born on 21 September 1879 at Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3 He was the son of Lucas Myers and Mary Huffman. Charles, age 9 months, appeared on the US Census of 1880 living at Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania,in the household of his parents, Luke and Mary Myers.4 Charles, age 30 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 at Springdale, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.5 Charles, age 40 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on Pittsburgh Street, Springdale, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.6 According to the Federal Census in 1920, Charles was a retail grocer salesman.6 Charles, age 50 years, appeared on the US Census of 1930 at 2516 Ligonier Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He is listed as single boarding with the Sinkey family.7 According to the Federal Census in 1930, Charles was a retail grocer salesman.7 On in 1942, Charles registered for the World War II draft, while living at 2516 Ligonier Street, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He gave his age as 62, and his employer as the Latrobe Celect Steel Company.3 He died on 12 November 1964 at Westmoreland County Home, Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, at age 85 from arteriosclerotic heart disease. He never married.1,8,2 Charles's obituary of 14 November 1964, reads:

MYERS, CHARLES, 85 years, Scenic Drive, died in Greensburg Thursday. Friends are be. ing received at Stader Funeral Home from 10 a.m to 10 p.m. daily. Funeral mass will 1 be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday in Holy Family Church. Interment in St. Vincent Cemetery. Stader Funeral Home, Latrobe, in charge.
