     Lucas Myers was born on 22 October 1822 at Bavaria, Germany.1,2,3 Lucas Myers was known as Luke Myers after immigration.

Luke Myers married Mary Huffman, daughter of Joseph Huffman and Margaret Elizabeth Kuhns.2 Luke Myers appeared as Head of Household with Mary, his wife, on the United States Census of 1860 at Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.4 According to the Federal Census in 1860, Lucas was a stone mason.4 He was a private in Company I, 168th Pennsylvania Infantry from 14 October 1862 to 25 July 1863.5,6,7,8,9 Luke Myers appeared as Head of Household with Mary, his wife, on the United States Census of 1870 at Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.10 According to the Federal Census in 1870, Luke was a stone mason.10 Luke Myers appeared as Head of Household with Mary, his wife, on the United States Census of 1880 at Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.1 According to the Federal Census in 1880, Luke was a farmer.1 Luke, appeared on the Veterans Schedule of the US Census of 1890 at Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.5 He died on 26 February 1894 at Beatty Station, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, at age 71.2,3 Luke was buried at Saint Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in section B.3,7
