St. Clothilda
     Saint Clothilda was born circa 480.1,2 She was the daughter of Childperic II ~ King of the Burgundians and Caretana. Clotilda was a Christian and is said to have been instrumental in the conversion of Clovis I to Christianity.1

Saint Clothilda married Clovis I the Great ~ King of the Franks, son of Childeric I ~ Ceftain of the Salian Franks and Basina of Thuringia, in 492.3 Saint Clothilda died in 544 at Basilica of Saint Martin, Tours, Indre-et-Loire, Centre-Val de Loire, France.1,2,3 She was buried at Abbey of Saint Genevieve, Paris, Île-de-France, France.2
