     Kavadh I ~ Shah of Iran was the son of Firoz V ~ Shah of Iran. Kavadh was crowned the Shah of Iran in 485.1 He was deposed by his brother, but escaped, and was later restored to the throne. He fought the Eastern Empire from 503 to 504, and again from 524 to 531. In 531, he invaded Syria.1 He died in 531.
