Lucy Goodell was born on 29 August 1814 at Rowe, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Harvey Goodell and Anna Sherman.
Lucy Goodell, age 19, married Jacob Sherman, age 19 , son of Jacob Sherman and Abigail Reed, on 9 October 1833 at Monroe, Massachusetts. Lucy Goodell died on 1 December 1882 at Rowe, Massachusetts, at age 68. She was buried at Whitingham, Vermont.
