     Jonathan Woodman was born on 25 July 1746 at Kingston, New Hampshire.1 He was the son of Joshua Woodman and Eunice Sawyer. Jonathan Woodman was christened on 27 July 1746 at the First Church of Kingston, Kingston, New Hampshire, by the Rev. Joseph Secomb.

Jonathan Woodman, age 26, married Mary Elkin on 27 August 1772 at Hawke (now Danville), New Hampshire.

Jonathan Woodman, age 36, married Abigail Morse on 13 November 1782 at the First Church of Kingston, Kingston, New Hampshire.

In Joshua Woodman's will dated 27 January 1789 at Kingston, New Hampshire, Jonathan Woodman was named as an heir.2,3 He died on 9 April 1827 at Fayette, Maine, at age 80.1

Marriage Date: Woodman (1856) and Woodman (1995) give Jonathan and Abigail's marriage date as 12 November 1782. Woodman(1995) probably used the date from Woodman (1856.)1,3
