Joshua Woodman was born on 6 June 1708 at Newbury, Massachusetts.1,2,3,4,5,6 He was the son of Deacon Archelaus Woodman and Hannah Swett. Joshua Woodman and Eunice Sawyer filed marriage intentions on 21 February 1736 at Newburyport, Massachusetts.7
Joshua Woodman, age 27, married Eunice Sawyer, age 21 , daughter of John Sawyer and Sarah Wells, in March 1735/36.1,8,3,4,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,6,16 Joshua and Eunice lived after December 1736 at Kingston, New Hampshire.3,17 Joshua was a blacksmith.4 In 1776, Joshua Woodman signed the Association Test.2 Joshua wrote his will on 27 January 1789 at Kingston, New Hampshire.18,4 Joshua, appeared on the US Census of 1790 at Kingston, New Hampshire. The enumeration reads:
He died on 4 April 1791 at Kingston, New Hampshire, at age 82.2,3,4,8,20,9,10,6,21,22,16 He was buried at Plains Cemetery, Kingston, New Hampshire. Joshua's epitaph reads:
His estate was probated on 18 April 1791 at Rockingham County, New Hampshire.18
