Roxa Ward was born on 14 August 1798 at Orange, Massachusetts.1 She was the daughter of Deacon Daniel Ward and Sarah Jones.1
Roxa Ward married Joel Johnson, son of Elisha Johnson and Hepsebath Adams.
Roxa Ward died on 16 February 1824 at Orange, Massachusetts, at age 25.1 She was buried at North Orange Cemetery, Orange, Massachusetts. Roxa's epitaph reads:

I received this in an email: Family legend goes: Blue Wolf + Roxy Blue Feather (dau. of chief) were Sioux or Ojibwe Indians.They had dau. Roxy Dianiana born on Reservation in South Dakota abt 1798. Roxy Dianiana married Joel Johnson of Orange,MA. Orange records list her as Roxy Ward, dau. of Daniel + Sarah Jones Ward. Roxy + Joel had 4 children before she died in 1824. Their dau. Ruth married Horace Huntoon and lived in Orange. Ruth + Horace's son William Phyletus Green Huntoon married Mary Anah Fay and had 3 children. Their dau. Mabel Lizzie Huntoon was born on the Ojibwe Reservation at Red Lake, MN in 1878.
