Lydia Eaton was born on 23 July 1662 at Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Thomas Eaton of Haverhill and Eunice Singletary.4,5
Lydia Eaton married Jacob Hardy, son of Thomas Hardy and Lydia (?).4,6,5,3 Lydia and Jacob were admitted to the church at Bradford, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 26 April 1691.4,7 Lydia Eaton was the administrator of Jacob Hardy's estate on 6 May 1706 Division of the real property took place 2 Nov. 1713. It was agreed that she was to receive one-third of the estate, while the remaining two- thirds was to go to sons Jacob and Joseph with the understanding that they were to give to their sisters, Lydia, Ruth, Eunice and Mehitable, equal shares when they became 21 years of age.4,8 Lydia Eaton died on 24 June 1737 or 29 June 1737 at Bradford, Essex County, Massachusetts.4,9,1 She was buried at Ancient Burying Ground, Bradford, Essex County, Massachusetts.1 Her estate was probated on 25 September 1737 at Essex County, Massachusetts.
