Andrew M. Sexton

     Andrew M. Sexton was born circa 1831 at New York State.¹ He was the son of Joseph Rosellus Sexton and Sophronia Wilmont. Andrew M. Sextonappeared on the US Census of 1850 in the household of Joseph Rosellus Sexton and Sophronia Wilmont at Windsor, Broome County, New York.² According to the Federal Census in 1850, Andrew was a laborer.²

Andrew M. Sexton married Ann Tulley, daughter of Michael O'Toole and Ann ______, in 1859.¹ Andrew and Ann, age 22 years, appeared on the US Census of 1865 at Deerpark, Orange County, New York.³ Andrew M. Sexton appeared as head of household on the census of 1870 at Deerpark, Orange County, New York.⁴ Andrew and Ann, age 37 years, appeared on the US Census of 1880 at Port Jervis, Orange County, New York.⁵ Andrew M. Sexton appeared as head of household on the census of 1900 at 25 Coleman Street, Deerpark, Orange County, New York.¹ According to the Federal Census in 1900, Andrew was a locomotive engineer.¹ He died on 5 December 1901 at Port Jervis, Orange County, New York.^6,7 He was buried at Saint Marys Cemetery, Port Jervis, Orange County, New York.⁶
