Francis Baker was born on 7 July 1612 at Herfordshire, England.1 He immigrated in 1635 to Plymouth, Plymouth Colony, on board the Planter. Francismoved to Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, in 1641. where he was permitted to dwell 1 June 1641.1
Francis Baker, age 28, married Isabel Twining, daughter of William Twining and Ann Doane, on 17 June 1641.1 Francis lived in 1659 at Eastham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, where he had 10 acres of land. It was soon sold to William Baker, and he returned to Yarmouth.1 Francis wrote his will on 4 March 1692/93 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.2,1 He died on 23 July 1696 at Yarmouth, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, at age 84.1
