George Sexton was born in 1632 at Limerick, Munster, Ireland.1 He was the son of James Sexton.
George Sexton married Katherine Cowing.1 George Sexton and Katherine Cowing immigrated to Windsor, Connecticut, from Ireland with their family. They stayed only a short time in Windsor.1 George and Katherinemoved to Westfield, Massachusetts.1 He bought two parcels of meadow land and upland land at Waranoke (Westfield after 1669) on the Warranoke River from Thomas Cooper of Springfield.1
