     Engelbert II von Sponheim , Governor of St. Paul, Duke of Carinthia was the son of Engelbert I von Sponheim and Hedwig von Flinsbach. Engelbert II von Sponheim's full titles were the Governor of St. Paul, the Duke of Carinthia, the Count of Ortenburg, the Margrave of Istria, and thr Lord of Marquardstein.1

Engelbert II von Sponheim , Governor of St. Paul, Duke of Carinthia married Uta von Passau, daughter of Ulrich the Rich , Count of Passau and Adelaide von Frantenhausen and Lechsgemund, before 1105.1 Later in his life, he became a monk.1 Engelbert II von Sponheim , Governor of St. Paul, Duke of Carinthia died in 1141 at Sean (not found) as a monk.1
