Georges Charpentier was born on 15 April 1729 at St-Pierre-du-Nord, Île Saint-Jean (now Prince Edward's Island), New France.1 He was the son of Charles Charpentier and Marie-Josèphe Chênet.1
Georges Charpentier, age 31, married Anne Cyr, daughter of Jean-Jacques Cyr and Marie-Josèphe Hébert, on 27 January 1761 at Saint-Servan, Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany, France.
Georges married second on 8 November 1780 at Carleton-sur-Mer, Québec, Canada, Marguerite-Josèphe Henry, the daughter of Jean Henry and Marie Carret. She was born in 1743 in Cobequit, Acadia and died about 1 October 1811 in Havre-Boucher, Nova Scotia, Canada. She had been previously married to Grégoire Daigre.
He died after 1784.1
