Paul Gaudet was born on 9 January 1733 at Beaubassin, Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.1 He was the son of Augustin Gaudet and Agnès Chiasson.1

Paul Gaudet, age 34, married Rose Gautrot, daughter of Pierre Gautrot and Agnès LeBlanc, on 18 August 1767 at Église Notre-Dame-des-Ardilliers, Miquelon-Langlade, Île Miquelon, Saint Pierre and Miquelon.
Paul Gaudet died on 15 April 1779 at Saint-Servan, Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany, France, at age 46.1
