     Pierre Pinet was born circa 1730 at Port-Toulouse, Île Royale (now Cape Breton), Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.1,2 He was the son of Charles Pinet dit Lejeune and Marie-Louise Testard. In the 1752 Census, Pierre was recorded, age 22, living in the household of Pierre Daigre and Marie-Louise Testard at Port-Toulouse, Île Royale (now Cape Breton), Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.2

Pierre Pinet married Marie-Monique Trahan, daughter of Jean-Baptiste Trahan and Catherine-Josèphe Boudrot, on 7 June 1756 at Port-LaJoie, St. John's Island (now Prince Edward Island), Colony of Nova Scotia, British North America.2

Pierre Pinet married Marie-Thérèse Vienneau, age 18 , daughter of Michel Viano and Thérèse Baude, on 30 October 1758 at Saint-Charles-de-Bellechasse, Québec, New France.1,3 Pierre Pinet died circa 1792 at Bertrand, New Brunswick, Canada.2
