     Zoe Babin dite LaCroix was christened on 8 February 1819 at St-Jean-François-Régis, Saint-Philippe, Québec, Canada.¹ She was born on 8 February 1819 at Saint-Philippe, Québec, Canada.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Babin dit LaCroix and Marie-Françoise Giroux.¹

Zoe Babin dite LaCroix, age 20, married Franklin Burnett, age 20 , son of François Bonin and Marie Lanier, on 30 September 1839 at St-Georges Church, Henryville, Québec, Canada.^1,2

Zoe, age 30 years, and Franklin, age 30 years, appeared on the US Census of 1850 at Johnson, Lamoille County, Vermont.³ Zoe, age 40 years, and Franklin, age 40 years, appeared on the US Census of 1860 at Alburg, Grand Isle County, Vermont.⁴ Zoe, age 50 years, and Franklin, age 50 years, appeared on the US Census of 1870 at Altona, Clinton County, New York.⁵ Zoe, age 60 years, and Franklin, age 60 years, appeared on the US Census of 1880 at Altona, Clinton County, New York.⁶ According to the Federal Census in 1880, Zoe was named Louise. She probably used her "dit" name and it was transcribed as Louise.⁶ She died on 9 October 1896 at Moores Forks, Clinton County, New York, at age 77.⁷
