Sgt. Benjamin Waite was born circa 1640.1 He is believed to be the brother, of Richard of Boston and is known to be of Rhode Island stock.1 Benjamin was known to be living in 1663 at Hadley, Massachusetts.1 Benjamin was known to be living in 1669 at Hatfield, Massachusetts.1
Sgt. Benjamin Waite married Martha Leonard, age 21 , daughter of John Leonard, on 8 June 1670.1 He rescured 19 captivies from Canada.2 Benjamin was killed in battle on 1 March 1704 with the French and Indians.1
