     Richard Lancaster Clark was born on 7 May 1809 at Levant, Maine.1,2 He was the son of Ichabod Clark and Mary Lancaster.1

Richard Lancaster Clark, age 21, married Lucinda Thompson, age 20 , daughter of Seth Thompson and Lucy Holt, on 30 April 1831. Richard, appeared on the US Census of 1840. The enumeration reads:

Clark and Abiah ______ at Hermon, Maine.6 Richard was a farm laboer in 1870.6 He died on 13 November 1876 at Hermon, Maine, at age 67.7,8 He was buried on 23 November 1876 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hermon, Maine.7,8
