     Martin Joseph Beamon was born on 29 January 1863 at Ireland.1 He was the son of Martin Joseph Beamon. Martin Joseph Beamon immigrated in 1883.2 He and Margaret Quinn obtained a marriage license on 11 February 1889 at Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.3

Martin Joseph Beamon, age 26, married Margaret Quinn, age 30 , daughter of Mark Quinn and Margaret Gorham, on 12 February 1889 at the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

Martin, age 36 years, and Margaret, age 41 years, appeared on the US Census of 1900 on R3 Duquesne Avenue, Duquesne, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.1 According to the Federal Census in 1900, Martin was a shoe merchant.1 Martin, age 46 years, and Margaret, age 51 years, appeared on the US Census of 1910 on 29 Plum Alley, Duquesne, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.5 According to the Federal Census in 1910, Martin was a shoe merchant.5 Martin, age 56 years, and Margaret, age 61 years, appeared on the US Census of 1920 on South Third Street, Duquesne, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.2 According to the Federal Census in 1920, Martin was a shoe merchant.2 He died on 12 February 1929 at McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, at age 66.6,7 Martin's death notice of 14 February 1929, reads:

Beamon — On Tuesday, Feb. 12, 1929 at 5 a. m., Martin J. Beamon Sr. Funeral from the residence of his son, Martin J. Beamon Jr., 112 S. Third st. Duquesne, on Friday morning. Feb. 15. at 9 o'clock. Requiem mass at Holy Name Church at 9:30 o'clock. Friends invited.

Martin was buried on 15 February 1929 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in section S, lot 205.6,7

Birth: The 1900 census lists his birth as April 1847, but according all other records,he was born 12 February 1863. The 1900 Census is clearly wrong.
