     Joseph Many was christened on 4 September 1781 at St-Mathias-de-la-Pointe-Olivier Paroisse, Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Québec, British North America.1 He was born on 4 September 1781 at Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Québec, British North America.1 He was the son of Nicolas Magni dit Ladouceur and Marguerite Gaboriau.1 A contract for the marriage of Joseph Many and Louise Lamoureux was signed on 15 February 1810.2

Joseph Many, age 28, married Louise Lamoureux, age 19 , daughter of Pierre Lamoureux and Louise Thomas, on 19 February 1810 at St-Joseph-de-Chambly Paroisse, Chambly, Lower Canada, British North America.1,2,3,4

Joseph Many, age 46, married Marie-Louise Jetté, age 44 , daughter of Louis Jetté and Marie-Josephe Goguet, on 12 February 1828 at Saint-Luc, Lower Canada, British North America.5,4 Joseph Many, age 30 years, appeared on the Canadian Census of 1851 in the household of Benoni Many and Adelaide Plante at Chambly, Québec, Canada.6 Joseph Many died on 29 May 1860 at Chambly, Québec, Canada, at age 78.4,7 He was buried on 31 May 1860 at St-Joseph Cimetière, Chambly, Québec, Canada.4
