Sudden Death — On Sunday last: Capt Oliver Harding one of our most resiectable citizens left his bouse to gain company with several neighbors in search of a deranged woman. Having discovered her, he was leading her home with another neighbor when ihe suddenly fell in the highway and uttering a groan expired - He was in usual health laboring on his farm on Friday and Saturday He was 69 years of age.12
He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Barre, Massachusetts. Oliver's epitaph reads:
