Francis Ramey married Maria Katherine Ginter, daughter of Johann Adam Ginter and Maria Katharina Schneider, in 1784.3,2 Francis Ramey and Maria Katherine Ginter immigrated in 1791 to the United States from Alsace-Lorraine with their son Frederick. They settled near Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.1,4 Francis Ramey drowned in 1805 at the Juniata River, Pennsylvania.1,3
