     Jeanne de Valois was born circa 1294 at Duchy of Valois, France.1 She was the daughter of Charles de Valois , Prince of France and Count of Valois and Marguerite , Princess of Naples and Sicily.

Jeanne de Valois married William III the Good d'Avêsnes , Count of Hainault and Holland, son of Jean II d'Avêsnes , Count of Hainault and Holland and Philippa of Luxemburg, on 19 May 1305.1,2,3 Jeanne de Valois died on 7 March 1342.1
