     Aymerde Valence , Count of Angoulême was born circa 1160.1 He was the son of William IV Taillefer , Count of Angoulême and Marguerite de Turenne.

Aymerde Valence , Count of Angoulême married Alice de Courtenay, daughter of Peter of France , Prince of France and Elizabeth de Courtenay, in April 1186.1,2 Aymerde Valence , Count of Angoulême died on 16 June 1202 at Limoges, Aquitaine.1
